Christine Caruso, Owner of Backhive, is an experienced finance executive with more than 25 years of experience helping early-stage and mid-sized organizations in senior finance, investment, business development and general management roles.

Christine has held senior roles including CFO, Controller, Senior Venture Officer, Deputy Director and Director of Venture Commercialization in private equity/venture capital, government and philanthropic organizations. In these roles she has been part of successful teams in various facets of venture and impact development and investing including fund formation, fund administration, business development, due diligence and wraparound services. Christine has a strong corporate finance and accounting background, including a Big 4 accounting foundation.

Christine is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and her BS in Business Administration from Rider University.
