Support Socially Disadvantaged Farmers with Land Access
Our Rooted in Regeneration program is designed to assist Socially Disadvantaged Farmers with reduced mortgage interest rates and increase land access. These farmers meet the USDA’s definition of socially disadvantaged. For a limited time, we have the opportunity to double our impact through a partnership with Iroquois Valley Farmland REIT. By matching this funding, qualified Socially Disadvantaged Farmers can receive a total of 4% interest reduction, potentially saving them over $20,000 annually on a $500,000 mortgage. IQVF already has qualified farmers ready to benefit from this program, and can help more farmers with your support.
Support Soil Health Directly
Healing Soils Foundation supports regenerative farmers in their efforts in healing soil and nurturing our collective future. We deliver on our mission by providing grants for projects that directly support farmers in their critical work of stewarding soil health.
Maximize your Impact with the SOIL Fund
Complex problems require flexible solutions. Despite federal funding and soil health programs, farmers are often faced with a need for upfront matching capital or untenable reimbursement timelines that lock out too many, leaving funds on the table. Meanwhile, cost-share rates still hinder many farmers from transitioning to organic and climate-smart conservation practices.
We are launching the Soil Optimization Investment Leveraging (SOIL) Fund to address these issues. The SOIL Fund is designed to provide flexible capital to unlock further funding for regenerative and organic farmers.
For every $1M donated to the SOIL Fund, we can see $10M in federal funds unlocked to advance conservation practices for our organic farmers.
